Circular Patterns Final Video

For the final version of "Circular Patterns" I added a few images to the ending. I thought the addition of these put a nice closure to the piece and recapped the most prominent circular patterns I was attempting to portray.

Vertical to Horizontal Video

The idea behind this video was obviously vertical and horizontal lines. Not only is there a variety of different linear objects but I also think there is a broad representation of different textures.

Twisted Vines Video

The way the camera turns and twists to follow the vines that have engulfed this house is reflective of the plants twisted characteristics. I also found that the end shot of the window puts a nice solid closure to the otherwise jittery clip.

Bradford Beach Waves Video

This video in particular does a great job of demonstrating my first light capturing strategy; shooting from the lowest angle possible. The camera is at eye level with the beach so we can see what the waves look like coming in from a whole new perspective.

Swing Set Video

Fundamentally I thought this video was engaging because of the point of view in which it was shot. After going back and reviewing it I noticed the unique flashes of light that occur after each passing by of the swing. The capturing of these patterns was unintentional but adds and interesting component.
